Beach Bag: I got my beach bag from Target for $5 on clearance last year, so I'm not positive if they still have it. But it works as a great beach bag!
Obviously, in any beach bag a must have is a towel. Here I have a shirt from Nordstrom, the brand is "rubbish". I love this shirt to wear over my bathing suit because it is cropped and see through, which I love because this way you can still see the bathing suit! The shorts are just light washed jean shorts from Hollister.:)
Here I have, "It's a 10" Miracle Leave-in Product. What this product does is help your hair not get so damaged and dry from the beach/pool waters harsh chemicals. If you are a swimmer, you will love this product! The one con about this product is the scent. I find that the smell tends to linger, lets just say its not my favorite scent... On other hands I love the Neutrogena makeup remover wipes. This is for if I wear any makeup to the pool or maybe even if my waterproof mascara starts to come off!
In the side of my bag I like to keep a water bottle to stay hydrated at the beach! It is not included in this picture but I often keep a snack in a small container such as apples, blueberries, or strawberries. In the small pocket on the inside I keep my sunglasses and headphones for when I'm not swimming, and when I'm listening to music instead!
I like to use bag as my makeup/hair bag. This bag is the perfect size to fit everything of that sort. The bag itself came with a suitcase of mine. Although I'm pretty sure it came from Target too. This picture doesn't do its justice on how great this bag really is!
Non-Beauty Things: I don't keep all makeup things in my makeup bag! I have contacts and I swim with them in. Sometimes they get a little dry or dirty so I like to have a small thing of contact solution with me. With that, I have a contact case just in case they are really bothering me and I need to take them out. I have hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works. Surprisingly, it comes in handy very often! Of course I have sunscreen in there! Then I have a body spray which might seem a little weird. I like to keep a body spray in here in case I am going somewhere right after and I don't want that chlorine smell stuck on me till I take a shower. But I like this one because it smells very refreshing! And you might be wondering, "why the Altoids box?" Well I don't have Altoids in there, I have bobby pins instead! Instead of throwing the box away, its a great way to store your bobby pins for traveling or on the go! And then just some hair ties if I want to through up my hair.
Now this is the makeup I keep in my makeup bag! I keep my Garnier BB Cream in here for when I just want to lay out or just dip my feet in the pool. Plus, it has SPF 15 (bonus!). And of course my brush to apply it with. This brush is my stippling brush from realTechniques, one of the best brushes for applying foundation of BB cream! Then I have my Cover Girl Clump Crusher mascara. (I have yet to get the waterproof one!). To go along with my Stay Matte Rimmel London powder, I have my Elf kabuki brush. Let me just say this is one of my favorite powder/brush combos! The powder is really great to help you stay matte without looking so oily. At the bottom I have my Neutrogena healthy skin brightening eye perfector. To be honest I use this not only for my under eyes, but for concealer. It works great as a concealer. Plus, it has SPF 25! And of course I have my chap stick. You could say I have an addiction to chap stick... and buying ones I don't need! So I limited myself to only two in my bag! The yellow one is by EOS in Lemon Drop, (SPF 15), I love this chap stick! Next to it I have my Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning chap stick. Really, I don't need two chap sticks in my bags but hey, at least I limited myself to only two!
